Hon. Abdullahi Halidu Danbaba was born on February, 13th 1978 at BabadabeYaralea, Kaiama, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State. He attended Government Unity Secondary School, Kaiama, where he obtained West African Senior Secondary Certificate (WASSCE) in 1994 before he had his IJMB ‘A’ Level at Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin in 1995. He obtained his Bsc in Political Science from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto in the year 2000.
His working and Political experiences include the mandatory National Youth Service in Abuja and he did his Primary assignment at the National Assembly Common Services Division. He was the Special Assistant on Legislative Matters to the former Chairman, Kaiama Local Government Area Council between 2004 and 2007. He was also the Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kwara State in 2007, and re-appointed as Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Kwara State in 2018. He was Managing Director Kamma Global Ventures, Kaiama, Kwara State from 2008 to 2014.
Hon. Abdullahi Halidu Danbaba was elected into the Kwara State House of Assembly in 2019 representing Kaiama/Kemanji/Wajibe Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress and re-elected for the second time in 2023. In the 9th Legislative, he served as the Chairman,
House Committee on Water Resources and Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation and was a Member House Committee on Works and Transport and House Committee on Youth, Sports and Information.
In the 10th Assembly, Hon. Abdullahi Halidu Danbaba has been designated to serve as Chairman, House Committee on Water Resources and member House Committee on Energy, House Committee on Establishment and Public Service and House Committee on Commerce, Industry, Women Affairs and Social Development.
Hon. Abdullahi Halidu Danbaba, a devout Muslim is happily married and blessed with children. He speaks Bokobaru, Hausa and English fluently.
