HON. ABDULRAHEEM MEDINAT MOTUNRAYO

Hon. Abdulraheem Medinat Motunrayo was born on the 19th of February, 1990. She hails from Moro Local Government Kwara State. She attended Balogun Nursery and Primary School, Taiwo, Ilorin where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate in 2001, after which she proceeded to Government Secondary school, Babanla in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State for her National Examination Council (NECO) Certificate in 2007. She later proceeded to Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, for her National Diploma in Public Administration in 2009 and her Higher National Diploma in Public Administration in 2012, she went further in her studies and obtained her Professional Diploma in Education at the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin in the year 2018.

Her work experience includes National Youth Service Corps, where she worked as a Teacher at Shoun high school, Ogbomoso North in 2013 and later as a teacher in Ilorin Grammar School, as an N-Power beneficiary in the year 2016.

Her extracurricular activities cover Teaching, Reading, Making Friends and Travelling.

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, she contested for the primary election under APC for Lanwa/Ejidongari in Moro Local Government and won. She thereafter contested for the seat of Lanwa/Ejidongari State Constituency under the Umbrella of APC and emerged the winner and was awarded the INEC Certificate of Return as the Member-elect to represent Lanwa/Ejidongari Constituency in the Kwara state house of Assembly. Upon inauguration, she was also appointed as the Deputy House Leader in the 10th Assembly of Kwara state. She is also designated to serve in the following House Committees.
