…as 10th Kwara State House of Assembly gets inaugurated.
The 9th Assembly Speaker, Hon. Danladi Salihu has been re-elected as speaker of the 10th house of assembly by the members of the house. This makes him the Speaker of this historic House of Assembly. Elected by the Members of the Assembly, the speaker’s statutory duty is to preside over the sitting and deliberations of the Assembly.
23 other members of the house representing the various constituencies in Kwara were also inaugurated.
Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu was born on the 31st May, 1985 into the family of the late Alh. Salihu Aliyu, (The Tafarkin Borgu) in Gwanara town, Baruten LGA of Kwara State. He took a job with the Federal University of Technology, Minna between 2010 and 2018. Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu in all odds, became the youngest person to pick the APC State House of Assembly form in Kwara, the youths of his constituency ensured that his victory at both the Party primaries and at the 2019 general elections.
He was elected Speaker of the 9th Assembly and superinted over the house brilliantly in the 9th house. Following his re-election at his Ilesha/Gwanara constituency, he was re-elected as the speaker of the 10th House of Assembly.
